Our work focuses on three large initiatives: leadership development, sciences-integrated theology, and science stewardship. These initiatives span our current and future activities. Within each initiative are a portfolio of programs, further breaking down the overarching initiatives’ questions into themed program areas. Within each program, we develop individual projects. While the initiatives will hold steady for the life of Blueprint 1543 our current strategies inform where we apply emphasis and focus to specific and finite programs and projects.
Leadership Development
Building the leadership capacity of those already invested in the sciences and theology is key. Our aim is to develop and strengthen scholars and theologians in their leadership skills as a way to build a movement. Together we will accelerate Christian contributions to human thriving.
Sciences-Integrated Theology
The problems facing the world today are complex, and often unanticipated by previous generations of theological thinkers. Theology is critical to framing and orienting human thriving, especially in an increasingly scientific and high-tech world. Working together our aim is for theological wisdom to thoughtfully engage discoveries from the sciences to accelerate Christian contributions to human thriving.
Science Stewardship
Science and high-tech fields impact creation and human flourishing. The people who fill those roles have incredible potential to impact and shape the future. Current and future scientists are part of this movement. Supporting them throughout their careers we will accelerate Christian contributions to human thriving.
